Greetings on behalf of the Lorain County Alumnae Chapter (LCAC) located in the Mighty Midwest Region of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The Sorority, a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world, has a membership of more than 300,000 women in the United States and abroad dedicated to public service through our Five-Point Programmatic Thrusts.

Our  chapter, chartered in 1983 by thirteen visionary women, is united in sisterhood to provide impactful public service to Lorain County and surrounding communities in the areas of educational and economic development, physical and mental health, political awareness and social action involvement and international awareness.
